Jemima's first day in school with the Art class!

Jemima enjoyed her time as the artist's muse!  She's extremely mellow. As you can see, all the students  enjoyed drawing her.  Jemima is an ambassador for all chickens worldwide!

An Angel with 4 legs - Bucky

Bucky is staying with us for two weeks as his owners are out of town.  Mellow and magnificent are two words that stand out.  A white furry bundle of love and angelic energy on four legs.  What breed is he?
Who knows, definitely a combination of breeds. It's irrelevant as everybody who meets him falls in love with the essence of love that emanates from him.  He's got me round all his paws!  Talk about being spoiled, all he has to do is look at me with his adoring brown eyes, roll over on his back and I stop doing everything and come over and kiss and cuddle him.  Since staying here he's been to visit the Sun Trust bank, the manager remember him from last year!  The optician where he was totally fawned over, offered water before they even spoke to me!  No problem I can handle it!  Stayed in the healing room very quietly with the clients who came for healing.  It's been so brilliant having him here, it reminds me of my dogs Voguie and Cosmo.   One thing you should know, Bucky does not like being a celebrity and having his picture taken,  but I was able to take this great picture of him in our garden.

Meet Jemima and Jessica (not dogs!)

Martin my husband is busy building the Taj Mahal of chicken coops!  It took him a full week to make a five star residence for the arrival of the new chickens which had come from a friend.  Be careful what you wish for in life, the universe hears you!  He had been to a chicken show with a friend and it opened his eyes to the multiple different breeds of chickens.  Many of them are pets and show chickens,  fluffy ones, multi-colored ones, a total abundance that one would never imagine unless you see for yourself.
Ours came with names but I knew that they needed new ones and it came to me early one morning.
Jemima and Jessica!  they  are big chickens,  Jemima is the white  Golden Comet and Jessica the Light Brahma brown.    Now for the eggs!  we get the most amazing tasting eggs, two eggs per day.  Interesting how popular we have become once our friends get to taste the eggs!   The main thing is that they have freedom to just be chickens, have the space to be and do chicken things.  Don't forget the personality, they are both very sociable and talkative.   Martin lets them out every day and they are now feeling so relaxed and "at home"  they ventured out onto our main lawn as you will see from the picture.  Watch this space for more chicken news!

MEDITATING DOGS!

Imagine the surprise last week whilst I was looking after two very mellow standard poodles called Gally (Sir Galahad) and Ollie (Oliver).  I was giving a private meditation session and asked my clients if they minded if the dogs could join in.  My clients are both animal lovers and the dogs are mellow!  After giving a doggy welcome to my clients, Gally and Ollie both lay down on the floor and didn't move for two solid hours and totally embraced the energy from the meditation.  When the meditation was finished, Ollie gave me his paw as if to say "thank you" for a beautiful meditation, both Gally and I enjoyed it!
This proves that you just don't have to be two legged to benefit from meditation!

Finally! Me and My new Blog!!!!!!

My friend and photographer,  Erin Brauer, has finally inspired me to get started on my new blog.  This will allow me to share my inspirations, thoughts, healing experiences and what is going on with Healing People and Pets.  Here is one of the images that Erin took in my beautiful garden.

Healing for Neela

I did a healing last week on an Italian Mastiff Cane Courso called Neela. The most beautiful grey colored  dog with the most loving temperament.  Also in the furry family was Meesha, a Burmese Mountain dog and an eighteen year old cat called Buzz (who thinks he is a dog!).  Neela and Meesha are so connected with each other and have been since they were puppies.  Seeing the interactions between them all was so uplifting to behold.
